One-week old corpse of elderly couple found in house in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: An elderly couple was found dead inside their house in Perumpetty in Pathanamthitta. The deceased has been identified as Haidrose (90) and his wife Khulsu Beevi (85), natives of Chengaramala.

The dead bodies of both are about a week old. Neighbours told the ward member about the foul smell coming from inside the house.

Following this, the ward member informed the police station after which the police reached the spot and found the dead bodies. Hydrose live by collecting and selling scraps. The couple have no children.
