17 injured after tourist vehicle overturns in Adimali

IDUKKI: A total of 17 people were left injured after a vehicle carrying tourists overturned in Idukki on Saturday. The accident took place at Thokkupara near Adimali. A vehicle carrying tourists from Tiruchirappalli to Thrissur met with the accident.

The officials of the Motor Vehicle Department and many locals were passing through the Thokkupara region during the time of the accident, which made the rescue operations move fast. The injured were admitted to Adimali Taluk Hospital and nobody has been seriously injured. The tourists were heading towards Thrissur after spending some days in Munnar.
