KOCHI: An Iranian fishing boat was found off the Kerala coast near Koyilandy. The Iranian fishing vessel was found 20 nautical miles from Koyilandy. The Coast Guard observed the boat, and the people on board were later detained and questioned. Six fishermen from Kanyakumari were in the boat.

They are fishermen who went fishing in Iran. It is reported that they organized a boat and came back after not getting the expected money. The Coast Guard did not file a case after the fishermen provided information. At the same time, as the boat ran out of fuel, the attempt is to pull it to the shore.

Meanwhile, Iran announced yesterday that it has released all the crew members of the Israeli ship it seized on April 13. However, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the ship is still under their control. There were 25 employees including Indians. Ann Tessa Joseph, the only woman among them and a Malayali, was released earlier. The foreign minister said that the crew are being released on humanitarian grounds and that they and the ship's captain can return to their countries.
