'Will appear on the other side....wait and see'; Youngster goes missing in Kuttiady canal

KOZHIKODE: A youngster who jumped into the Kuttiady canal went missing on Friday night. Yadhu(24), a native of Asharikandi jumped into the canal, made for the Kuttiady irrigation project.
On his way home from work at 10.30 pm on Friday, Yadhu jumped into the aqueduct at Mampally side. Yadhu promised his friends that he would swim and appear on the other side of the duct, but was not seen again. Locals and police searched but couldn’t find him. As of now, the fire department has engaged in the search operation. Yadhu works as an aluminium fabrication worker.
This happens just a few days after the shocking drowning incident in Nedumonkavu in Kollam.
