'Kollywood's biggest hit of 2024'; 'Aranmanai 4' enters coveted 50 crore club

‘Aranmanai 4’, the latest Tamil horror-comedy flick directed by Sundar C is successfully walking towards the second week in theatres. As per reports, the movie has amassed Rs 56.5 crores globally. From this, Rs 40 crore came from Tamil Nadu alone. The movie released on May 3 is considered as the biggest hit of Kollywood in 2024. Tamannaah and Rashi Khanna play pivotal roles in the movie.

Santhosh Pratap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, KS Harikumar, Yogi Babu, Jayaprakash, VTV Ganesh, and Delhi Ganesh make the ensemble cast of the movie.

Apart from all these casts, the limelight is on Devananada, the child artist who excelled in the Malayalam movie ‘Mallikappuram’. The little star is now winning hearts for her performance in her Tamil debut. The first film in the Aranmanai franchise was released in 2014. The second part, released in 2016, starred Sundar and Hansika alongside Siddharth and Trisha. The third part released in 2021 had Sundar, Arya, Rashi Khanna and Andrea Jeremiah as the main stars.

The fourth instalment revolves around the mysterious Assamese folklore of Baak.
