Arvind Kejriwal's ten guarantees: Free electricity, Agniveer scheme, China and more

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced ten promises that will be implemented if the Aam Aadmi Party wins the Lok Sabha elections.

“BJP has totally failed in keeping their promises. My work is my track record. Let the people decide whether they want Modi’s guarantee or Kejriwal’s guarantee. Remember the Rs 15 lakhs Modi said he would pay into every citizen’s bank account? Such are the hollow promises made by the BJP. It is an open secret that Modi will retire next year from active politics. Then who will take care of these guarantees?” asked Kejriwal.

Arvind Kejriwal added that his promises are aimed at the economically backward people in the society. The important promise among the whole is 'free electricity scheme' for all. Kejriwal wants the whole country to emulate the uninterrupted power supply model in Delhi. The second promise is to upgrade the education available to students in government schools for Rs 5 lakh crore. He also said that the central government and the Delhi government should provide Rs 2.5 lakh crore each for the project.

Kejriwal's Ten Guarantees:

1. Legalization of MSP to farmers.

2. Two crore job opportunities within one year.

3. Inflation will be contained.

4. Electricity for all.

5. Better healthcare facilities for all.

6. National security will be ensured, lands invaded by China will be retaken and army will be given full freedom.

7. The Agniveer scheme will be disbanded and those currently enrolled in the scheme will be made permanent.

8. Full statehood for Delhi.

9. Proper investigation in corruption cases against BJP.

10. Special rules conducive for businesses and industries to prosper.
