Miracle that can only be seen by those in UAE; Flower Moon happening on 22nd of May; know best time and location to photograph this phenomenon 

DUBAI: A miracle will happen in the sky on the 22nd of this month. People living in the UAE can see this phenomenon. The name given to this phenomenon that beautifies the night sky is 'Flower Moon'. On that day, the moon will look like blooming flowers. This phenomenon can be seen partially in many parts of the world. However, this can be seen most clearly in Dubai. It can be seen with the naked eye without telescopes or binoculars.

Hassan Al Hariri, CEO of Dubai Astronomy Group, said that the best time to photograph this moon is when it is rising. He said that one should stand on top of tall buildings or places where the sky is not obscured to capture and see the Flower Moon clearly. It is also known as Mother’s Moon, Milk Moon, and Corn Planting Moon. The name Flower Moon originated from America.

"In the past, the full moons of each month were named according to each climate. The month of May is the blooming time of many flowers in the United States. That's why this moon got the name Flower Moon." - Amity Dubai Satellite Ground Station Project Director Sarath Raj said.
