'Bail within 15 days...will meet you again'; Alappuzha gang violence video goes viral

ALAPPUZHA: “If you file a case remember that the high court will give us bail. This is not a murder case. We will get bail within 15 days and will surely return to hack you to death. We will film the act and the video will also go viral." this was the disturbing yet threatening speech made by an accused to a youngster, who was kidnapped and brutally tortured near a deserted railway station near Kayamkulam.

Arun Prasad, a native of Oachira, who handed over the phone of a Kayamkulam goon to the police, was subjected to torture with stones, sticks and machete. The youngster was forcibly taken on a bike from Oachira to a deserted railway station near Krishnapuram stream. He was then circled by the gang who then unleashed the demonic torture. The exploits of the three-member gang were captured on the phone by the fourth member of the gang. The police identified the gang from the seized mobile phone of the accused.

In the two videos covering three minutes, the gang can be seen brandishing a machete and is aiming to hack the youngster's neck; in a bid to instill fear. The attack was made in retaliation to ArunPrasad filing a complaint against the gang.
