POCSO case accused escapes Kerala police custody from bus in Tamil Nadu

PATHANAMTHITTA: A POCSO case accused, escorted to Kerala from New Delhi, escaped from Police custody on Sunday. Sachin Ravi, a native of Vadaserikara, who was on lookout notice is the accused. Sachin, who was detained at Delhi airport by the officials was later handed over to Kerala police.

Sachin Ravi, who arrived at the Delhi airport from Sharjah, was taken into custody by the cyber police team of Pathanamthitta and brought to the Bangalore airport. He was then taken onto a bus that headed to Pathanamthitta. When the bus reached Kaveripattinam near Chennai, the passengers were allowed time to refresh and use the loo. It was during this time that Sachin escaped from the police. The help of Tamil Nadu police is also sought to trace the culprit,
