Ace actor Mohanlal turns 64; celebrations begin in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The acting marvel of the Indian film industry—Mohanlal will celebrate his 64th birthday today. The actor will have a modest celebration with his family at his Besant Nagar residence in Chennai. Meanwhile, Instagram and other social media platforms are already chock full of reels and fan videos wishing Kerala’s most worshipped superstar on his birthday.

Mohanlal, who is now a host of a popular reality show celebrated his birthday with the contestants on Sunday. A birthday celebration is also panned in the film set of Tharun Moorthy’s latest film where the actor plays the lead role. The movie will also witness the reunion of the iconic pair of Mohanlal and Shobana after a long 15 years.

According to Hindu astrology, Mohanlal was born on Revati; the star identified as the First Point of Aries. This year, the birth star falls on June 2nd. As per his mother’s wish, Mohanlal will visit a temple and conduct special rituals on this specific date.
