Sexually assaulted sister after watching porn video together; 13-year-old booked

MUMBAI: 13-year-old brother accused of sexually assaulting his 15-year-old sister and making her pregnant. The incident related to the case took place in Khandeshwar in Navi Mumbai. The 13-year-old sexually assaulted his sister after watching obscene scenes together with her.

Even though the girl was pregnant, the family did not disclose the incident. But when she was taken to the hospital for abortion, the police got information about the incident from there. Then the police reached Vashi General Hospital and registered a case.

Hindustan Times reports that the girl gave a statement to the police that her younger brother had assaulted her after watching a pornographic video together. A police officer of the investigating team said that they first tried to have sex in December last year but failed.

But the next month, the brother sexually assaulted the 15-year-old. 'The matter was revealed to the mother after the girl stopped menstruating,' said the official. Then they reached the hospital.

A case has been registered against the boy under IPC sections 376 and 376 (2) (n) (repeated rape of the same woman) and POCSO section. In case the accused is a minor, further action will be decided by the Child Welfare Committee.
