Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital after IPL match in Ahmedabad; Gauri Khan visits actor

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering sunstroke and dehydration. The actor was in attendance at Ahmedabad to watch the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.

After the match, SRK ventured out to the ground and even greeted all the spectators, striking his signature pose to cheers from the thousands. In Ahmedabad, the actor was suffering from dehydration in the high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. According to reports, SRK was discharged from the hospital late Wednesday night. The news agency also reported that security has been tightened around the hospital. Close friend and actress Juhi Chawla visited Shahrukh at the hospital earlier today.

Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri also reached the hospital by Wednesday noon amidst a tightened security entourage.
