Superstar Rajinikanth receives UAE's golden visa

ABU DHABI: Superstar Rajinikanth has received a golden visa from the UAE's Department of Culture and Tourism. Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Government Culture and Tourism (DCT) Department, handed over the golden visa to Rajinikanth. Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuff Ali also attended the function. The ceremony was held at the DCT headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Rajinikanth said he felt deeply honoured to receive the UAE Golden Visa from the Abu Dhabi government.

"Heartfelt thanks to the Government of Abu Dhabi. I would also like to thank my friend MA Yusuff Ali who was with me providing all the help," Rajinikanth said.

Rajinikanth also visited Cabinet Member and UAE Minister Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan at his palace in Abu Dhabi. He also visited the newly constructed BAPS Hindu Mandir and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Rajinikanth arrived in Abu Dhabi after completing the shooting of his new film 'Vettaiyan'.
