Kerala to receive isolated rains for three days, end to extreme heavy rainfall

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Following the weakening of the cyclonic circulation in the Arabian Sea, the heavy rains have eased slightly in the state. In the next three days, the rain will intensify in the northern districts. Other places will receive isolated rain. Meanwhile, if the cyclonic circulation becomes stronger or more rain clouds form over the Arabian Sea, heavy rains may occur again. A high wave of up to 1.5 meters is possible on the Kerala coast.

The depression formed in the Bay of Bengal turned into a severe depression. Today it will form into a cyclonic storm. (The name is Rimal, the name was suggested by Oman). It will make landfall as a severe cyclone near Sagar Island off Bangladesh-West Bengal coast by midnight tomorrow. Kerala may not be affected.

More summer rain

The state has already received more than average summer rainfall this year. From March 1 to May 31, the normal rainfall is 359.1 mm. This time it was 360.8 mm.
