Two UDF candidates confirm victory in Kerala, CPM not in picture in Kollam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An hour after the start of counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections, two candidates of the UDF in Kerala are moving forward confirming victory. N K Premachandran and Dean Kuriakose are moving ahead with victory in Kollam and Idukki.

Their leads have crossed ten thousand. N K Premachandran has a lead of 11486 votes. Mukesh MLA of the CPM is not in the picture at all. Mukesh got a nominal lead only when the postal votes were counted. The picture changed when the counting of votes in the machine started. Dean Kuriakose has a lead of 10825 votes in Idukki.


UDF has a clear lead in Kerala when reports came last. The LDF is leading in only seven seats. NDA is leading only in Thrissur. There is a strong race in Vadakara, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram. Shafi Parampil is leading in Vadakara. In Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Attingal, the lead levels are changing. Suresh Gopi is leading by more than 3000 votes when reports last came. Minister K Radhakrishnan is leading by 767 votes in Alathur. KPCC president K Sudhakaran is behind in Kannur. P Jayarajan's lead is 945 votes.
