Inmate missing from old age home, found dead

KANNUR: An inmate of an old age home, who went missing, has been found dead. The dead is Chandran of Panachikkal. His body was found in a canal in Thirumeni Kannur Cherupuzha. He was an inmate of Sneha Bhavan, an old age home in Chattivayal. Chandran was missing since Friday. The authorities of the old age home later filed a missing complaint.

The body was found when an investigation based on the complaint was going on. The police suspect that he may have slipped and fallen into the canal while bathing. The body has been shifted to Pariyaram Medical College for post-mortem. More details are awaited.
