Murder case involving actor Darshan Thoogudeepa; Actress Pavitra Gowda arrested

BENGALURU: Actress Pavitra Gowda arrested in the murder case involving famous Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa. The quotation team told the police that Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga, who was killed, had sent an obscene message to Darshan's friend Pavitra Gowda on Instagram.

Darshan had asked the president of the fans association in Chitradurga to find Renuka Swamy. After that, information including Swami's house was received. Later, with the help of a quotation team, Renuka Swamy was abducted. The quotation team also testified that Renuka Swamy was brutally beaten in the car porch of Darshan's house in RR Nagar, Bengaluru.

Quotation gang members said that Darshan beat Renuka Swamy with an iron rod and this was the reason for his death. They have also given a statement to the police that after the death, the body was left at Kamakshipalayam in Bengaluru. Based on this, now Pavitra Gowda has been arrested . The actress is now in the Annapurani Nagar police station. The investigation team is interrogating the actress.

Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested by Bengaluru police this morning. He was arrested after being taken into custody in the morning for questioning in connection with the murder case. The Deccan Herald reported that police caught Darshan from a private hotel near Chamarajendra Zoological Garden in Mysore.
