Kerala University bans Sunny Leone's dance performance to be held next month

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala University has banned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone's dance performance. Sunny Leone's program was scheduled to be held on July 5 at the University Engineering College but the VC banned this event. VC Dr Mohan Kunnummal gave instructions in this regard. The action was taken by pointing out the government's ban on music programs by outsiders.

Students died due to accidents in some programs organized by student organizations in Thiruvananthapuram Government Engineering College and Cusat last year. With this, the government has strictly banned DJ parties, music nights etc. by outsiders in the college.

Amid this order, the college student body decided to hold Sunny Leone's stage program without the permission of the university. But the position of the VC is that under no circumstances will such programs be allowed inside the college.
