'Received many threatening phone calls and legal notices'; Robin Radhakrishnan's viral statement

At a time when the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam is marred by controversies from former contestants, popular media personality Robin Radhakrishnan, also a former Bigg Boss participant, has decided to give his two cents on the issue.

Robin:

“They told me about having the creative prowess to create thousands Robins like me. After the show, they kept on intruding on my professional and personal life and came to dictate how I should run my life. I was not ready to budge and even told them how I run my life should be none of their business. To these comments, the retaliation came in the form of legal notices.

I even received threatening calls at times. See, I was a normal doctor who had zero know-how about the corporate media business. For me, it was a new world, a hitherto inexperienced one. So, people would not believe how I suffered from them. I know there were some mistakes on my part too, but that doesn’t make them holy. The reality show people won’t allow anybody to get more fame. If you grow beyond their expectations, be ready to face retaliation.

I feel quite happy now that more people are coming in support of me and are showing courage to talk against a mammoth media empire.

I have a request to my online friends. Please don’t degrade contestants when they come out of the show. Like you, they also have family and their blood is red and no different from yours. We are also humans and will get badly hurt seeing these comments.
