CM Pinarayi Vijayan felicitates 'All we imagine as light' team in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government on Thursday felicitated actors Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Azeez Nedumangad and Hridhu Haroon who played the lead roles in the film 'All We Imagine As Light' which won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan felicitated the actors in the function held at the secretariat.

The earlier planned big ceremony was cut short following the Kuwait fire tragedy which took away the lives of 24 Keralites. As a mark of respect in these grieving times, the function was made modest and was held at the Secretariat's conference hall. The chief minister praised all the actors involved in the film and wished them all luck to reach even greater heights in their artistic careers. The CM also extended his praise to other Indian movies that made it to the revered Cannes festival, which eventually helped elevate the status of India’s legendary movie industry.

'All We Imagine As Light' is an Indo-French joint venture. The film tells the story of a nurse named Prabha and is directed by FTII alumni Payal Kapadia.
