Abused on social media; Instagram influencer commits suicide in capital city 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An Instagram influencer has committed suicide. The dead is a native of Njalikonam in Thrikannapuram and a plus two student. Her relatives alleged that she was abused on social media.

The 18-year-old Instagram influencer attempted suicide last Monday. She was then admitted to the medical college hospital. She succumbed to death last night while undergoing treatment. It is alleged that the girl was in a relationship with a youth from Nedumangad and after ending this relationship, the youth hurled abuses at the girl on social media. The girl was a student of Cotton Hill School in Thiruvananthapuram. The Poojapura police have registered a case of unnatural death.
