Rahul to retain Rae Bareli, Priyanka Gandhi to contest in Wayanad, Congress decides

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will retain the Rae Bareli constituency in Uttar Pradesh. His sister Priyanka Gandhi will contest in Wayanad. The crucial decision regarding both the constituencies was taken by the party leadership meeting held this evening at the residence of AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge. Rahul Gandhi thanked the people of Wayanad for giving the energy to fight. Priyanka Gandhi also clarified that she will be with Wayanad without making the people feel about Rahul's absence.
