Attempted suicide by consuming pesticide; farmer dies while undergoing treatment

THRISSUR: A farmer, who was undergoing treatment after consuming pesticides, died on Tuesday. The deceased is Venoli native Radhakrishnan (56). He was undergoing treatment at Thrissur Medical College Hospital. It is said that Radhakrishnan attempted suicide due to financial liabilities.

Radhakrishnan owns three acres of farmland. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated an investigation. The body is currently kept at the mortuary of the district hospital.
