Malayali air hostess found dead under mysterious circumstances in Gurgaon

CHERUTHONI: A Malayali woman was found under mysterious circumstances in Gurgaon in Haryana just a week after she joined Air India as an air hostess. The deceased has been identified as Sreelakshmi (24), the daughter of Chembakappara native Biju and Seema. On Monday It was the Gurgaon police that contacted the Thankamani police and informed them about the death of Sreelakshmi on Monday morning. According to the police, Sreelakshmi was found hanging in her hostel room.

Sreelakshmi joined Air India on June 6 after completing training for six months. Sreelakshmi, who had come home in the second week of May, returned to Haryana on June 2. Relatives of Sreelakshmi said that they had talked to her through video call on Sunday night and that there was no reason for her to commit suicide. They also demanded a detailed investigation into the incident.
