Govt to help KSRTC to pay monthly salary of employees in single instalment; decision taken in high-level meeting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government will help KSRTC to pay the monthly salary of its employees in one instalment. The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to discuss issues related to KSRTC.

"KSRTC will make arrangements to pay the monthly salary of the employees in one instalment. The government will provide the necessary support for this," the Chief Minister said.

Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar, Finance Minister KN Balagopal, Finance Department Principal Secretary Rabindra Kumar Agarwal, KSRTC MD Pramoj Shankar and others participated in the meeting. KSRTC employees will be assured government assistance and money from the bank consortium. It was also decided in the meeting to pay the full salary on a fixed date.
