Hashish oil and ganja seized during inspection; two people including college student arrested

THRISSUR: Two people, including a college student, were arrested by the Excise Department for possession of ganja and hashish oil in Vadanappally in Thrissur. Edwin, a graduate student, was nabbed by Excise with 10 grams of ganja from the vicinity of the SN College in Nattika.

Based on the information received from Edwin, the police later arrested a youth named Sreeharsh from Palapetty in Edamuttam. The Excise seized three mg of hashish oil, 50 grams of ganja from Sreeharsh's scooter and 2.2 kg of ganja from his house. The accused were arrested by the Vadanappally Excise Range Inspector VG Sunil Kumar and his team. PO Haridas, Sudheeran, CEO Nikhil and driver Rajesh were in the team that nabbed the accused. The accused were produced in the court and remanded.
