Explosion in Kinfra park; machine parts fell in populated area

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An explosion took place at the ready mix unit within the Kinfra Park in Thiruvananthapuram this afternoon. Machine parts from the facility exploded and fell into a nearby populated area. According to sources, one machine part struck the window of a nearby house. No one was injured in the incident. Locals are protesting at the spot.
