Gang rape repeats in Delhi; ten-year-old girl gang-raped and killed; two youths arrested
NEW DELHI: Delhi is shaken by the incident of gang-rape and murder of a 10-year-old girl. The incident took place in the Narela area of the national capital. The child's father realized that his daughter was missing around 9:45 pm on Thursday. A police complaint was filed around 12:30 am on Friday. Later, during the investigation conducted by the police, the body of the child was found with a broken head in a deserted place.
In the incident, the police arrested two men who were neighbours of the girl. Rahul (20) and Devdath (30) were arrested. Local residents informed the police that they saw Rahul walking with the girl towards the empty area where the body was found. Police said that the accused took the girl by tempting her by saying that they would take her to a nearby restaurant. On the complaint of the child's father, the accused were taken into custody and questioned.
Two people - Rahul (20) and Devdutt (30) - apprehended for allegedly gangraping and murdering a 10-year-old girl in Narela area of Delhi. A case u/s 363, 302, 376D of the IPC, and sec 6 of POCSO Act has been registered at PS Narela on the statement of the deceased girl's father.

Meanwhile, a young man was arrested in Kayamkulam in a case of molesting a 76-year-old woman. Shahnaz, a native of Ochira Clappana, was arrested by the police. The incident happened last night. Police say that Shahnaz was intoxicated. The elderly woman has been admitted to Vandanam Medical College Hospital.
