KSEB stops accepting bill payments through Akshaya centres and 'FRIENDS'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSEB has stopped accepting electricity bill payments through Akshaya centres and 'FRIENDS'. This decision is taken in view of the fact that the amount paid by the customers is not being credited to KSEB account on time. The consumers were facing difficulties due to the delay in electricity bill amount getting credited to KSEB's account and there were several complaints regarding the same.

At present, about 79 percent of consumers pay their electricity bills online. KSEB has provided many online ways to pay electricity bill quickly without any extra cost. Payment can also be made through the cash counter in section offices.
