Two youths of a family drown at Kappil beach

PARAVUR: Two youths drowned while taking bath at Kappil beach in Edava on Sunday. The youths were natives of Chathannoor. The two have been identified as Al Ameen (24) of Chathannoor and Anwar (34) of Kottarakkara. The two were swept away by the strong undercurrents. Anwar is Al Ameen’s sister’s husband. The Varkala Fire Force and the Ayiroor police have reached the spot.
