Suresh Gopi takes part in AMMA's general body meeting after 27 years, Mohanlal welcomes him gift

KOCHI: For the first time in 27 years, Union Minister and actor Suresh Gopi participated in the general body meeting of AMMA, an association of Malayalam movie actors, held in Kochi today. Suresh Gopi arrived just before the end of the voting to participate in the general body, where the office bearers of the organization were also elected. He also cast his vote.

President Mohanlal welcomed Suresh Gopi with a gift. Suresh Gopi, who became the Union Minister, was also honoured by the actor's conclave. A revised membership card was also handed over to Suresh Gopi.

Suresh Gopi stayed away from AMMA following a dispute over a stage show in 1997. However, in 2022, Suresh Gopi attended a medical camp called 'Unarvu' organized by AMMA.
