Passengers share video of leak in Vande Bharat, railways respond
NEW DELHI: Vande Bharat is a train that offers the best facilities to the people. The train is faster than other trains. However, there are reports that the new Vande Bharat train with so much facilities is leaking.
A woman who traveled in Vande Bharat train number 22416 from Delhi to Varanasi shared this on her X handle. The woman also shared the video of the incident yesterday. The video that surfaced shows the upper part of the roof leaking and the seats drenched. The video was shared by Priyanka Singh. After the video went viral, many people came forward criticizing the railways.
Slight water leakage was observed in coach because of temporary blockage of pipes! The same was attended and rectified by the staff on the train .

The inconvenience caused is regretted.
The northern railway soon came forward with a response to the incident. The railway informed that the leak in the coach was due to a temporary blockage of pipes and it has been rectified by the staff on the train. The railways also added that the inconvenience caused is regretted.
There was a similar problem in Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat train earlier. When the train stopped at Kannur, water fell through the AC vent in one of the coaches. Reports said the issue was rectified then.
