Meera Nandan with cryptic Instagram caption, speaks out against critics

Popular Malayalam actress Meera Nandan is now married to London-based accountant Sreeju. Many big names within the industry attended the function and the videos also went trending on YouTube.

In a new post on Instagram, Meera shared seven photos from their wedding with a cryptic caption, considered by many as a retort to the constant body shaming hurled at Sreeju on cyberspace. Along with the charming photos, Meera added the caption ‘Muruki pidikum ini angott” (will hold you close in the ongoing journey of life).

Since the wedding, Sreeju has been subjected to scoffing, jibes and body shaming on cyberspace. So far, Meera remained blasé and cared not to respond on the issue. And now, the silence is broken after Meera through her new Instagram post hit out at her detractors on cyberspace. Many artists and celebrities have come in support of the latest Instagram post from Meera Nandan.

“When it comes to body shaming, nobody would dare to meet the unscrupulous standards of Malayalees. Hope this is a strong retort to all those sceptics and please continue to hold Sreeju close and lead a beautiful life” came one comment for the post.

Meera and Sreeju got married on June 29 at Guruvayur temple. Only close friends and relatives attended the event.
