Modi to visit Russia and Austria next week

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Russia and Austria from July 8 to 10. Modi will visit the Russian capital Moscow from July 8 to 9 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Modi's first visit to Russia after the commencement of the Ukraine war has global significance.

Modi will travel to Austria on July 9. It will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Austria in 41 years. During his visit, he will call on Austria's President, Alexander Van der Bellen. Modi will also hold talks with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer. Modi and Karl Nehammer will also address business leaders from India and Austria. Modi will interact with members of the Indian community in Moscow and Vienna.
