MK Varghese worked for Suresh Gopi, he should be removed from post of Thrissur Mayor: VS Sunil Kumar

THRISSUR: CPI leader and former Minister VS Sunil Kumar has come down heavily on Thrissur Mayor MK Varghese. Sunil Kumar, who alleged that Varghese worked for BJP's Suresh Gopi in the Lok Sabha elections, demanded that Varghese should be removed from the post of Mayor.
"Varghese did not work as a Left Mayor in the recent Lok Sabha elections. He did not take any stand supporting the Left Front. He only talked about the glory of the NDA candidate without mentioning the development works worth Rs 1000 crore that I implemented in Thrissur while serving as an MLA," Sunil Kumar said.
Sunil Kumar also said that he was not interested in destroying the unity of the Left Front in the name of the Mayor.
