KOZHIKODE: Pramod Kottoolli, who was expelled from CPM in the PSC membership bribery scandal, has decided to move forward with legal action. "I have to live, so there is no clash with the party. A section has misled the party. They will be brought out," Pramod told the media.

"I will file a complaint with the police to bring out the true nature of the corruption allegations against me. I will also approach the court. I have not been informed that I have been expelled from the party."

Pramod Kottoolli's reply to CPM district committee member Premkumar's post on Facebook, which shared the press release of Pramod's expulsion, also became controversial. Pramod's comment below the district committee member's post was that you are the real hero of the scam. The district committee issued a press release saying that it was decided to expel Pramod from the primary membership after it was realized that he had engaged in activities that tarnished the reputation of the party and was not in line with party discipline. 60 lakhs was demanded from a female homeo doctor by offering a PSC membership. It is alleged that 22 lakhs were taken. The party took action when the issue became controversial.
