IDUKKI: Kerala is fighting unitedly to help the devastated Wayanad. The people of our state risked their lives in the rescue operations and are doing all that they could. People like Karim donated all the clothes from his textile shop to those in relief camps, and some other hotels provided free food.

People including toddlers are in the relief camps. Many have lost their parents. Meanwhile, a man’s message, 'If babies want breast milk, let me know, my wife is ready' is going viral on social media.

The message is that of Sajin Parekara, a native of Upputhara in Idukki. He got a call from Wayanad after this message went viral on social media. The caller asked to reach Wayanad as early as possible. Shortly Sajin and his family left for Wayanad.

'I am a mother of two children. I know the situation of babies who have lost their mothers. That's why I was ready for it. When I asked my husband, he supported me,' Bhavana, wife of Sajin, told the media. The couple has a four-year-old child and a four-month-old baby.

Meanwhile, the search is progressing in Wayanad. Three bodies were recovered from Mundakkai this morning. With this, the total death toll rose to 267.
