Freedom sale by Air India Express; Ticket price from Rs 1947 onwards

KOCHI: As part of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, Air India Express has announced Freedom Sale with ticket prices starting from Rs 1947. Tickets can be booked through the Air India Express website airindiaexpress.com till August 5 at the Freedom Sale fare for domestic and international travel up to September 30.

Passengers without check-in baggage can book tickets through the Air India Express website at discounted Express Lite fares. 3 kg extra cabin baggage is also available for free on express light fares. 1000 per 15 kg check-in baggage on domestic flights and 1300 rupees per 20 kg on international flights with a special discount for those with excess baggage.

Air tickets are available at special rates to 15 international destinations and 32 domestic destinations including tourist destinations like Delhi-Jaipur, Bengaluru-Goa, Delhi-Gwalior. Air India Express has 108 weekly domestic and international flights from Kochi, 70 from Thiruvananthapuram, 90 from Kozhikode and 57 from Kannur.

Loyalty members who book their tickets through the Air India Express website and mobile app will also get exclusive discounts of up to 8% New Coins, 47% discount on Bis-Prime seats, gourmet meals and more. Students, senior citizens, small and medium entrepreneurs, doctors, nurses, armed forces personnel and their dependents can also book tickets at a special discount.

Business Class equivalent Express Biz seats are available on all new Boeing 737-8 aircraft of Air India Express. For a better travel experience, you can also upgrade your ticket to the Express Biz section, which has a seat pitch of up to 58 inches. As part of its rapid development, Air India Express is inducting four new aircraft into its fleet every month. More than 30 new aircrafts inducted after October 2023 will have four to eight B-class seats.
