Police officer arrested for abusing minor boy in Kannur

KANNUR: A police officer has been arrested in a POCSO case in Kannur. The arrested is Abdul Razaq, a senior civil police officer of Telecommunication. He is a native of Kanjirapally in Kottayam. Town inspector Sreejith Koderi arrested the accused.

He was arrested for sexually abusing a minor boy of Chalode. Razaq is presently under suspension in a harassment case filed by his second wife. Meanwhile, he was arrested in the POCSO case.

A police officer was arrested in Palakkad for sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl a few days before. The arrested is Ajeesh (28) of Puthussseri in Palakkad and a civil police officer in the camp in Areekode. He was arrested by the Kasaba police in Palakkad on the complaint of the girl. The police had received a similar complaint earlier. The new complaint is when an investigation was progressing. He was shifted to Areekode moths before for special training.
