NEW DELHI: CBI has arrested an Assistant Director in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the complaint of taking a bribe from a jewellery shop owner by threatening to charge him in a fake case. ED Assistant Director Sandeep Singh Yadav had demanded Rs 25 lakh from the Mumbai-based jewellery shop owner. Sandeep Singh had also threatened to frame the jewellery shop owner's son in a false case and arrest him if he did not pay the money.
