16-year-old girl goes missing in Kochi; suspected to have fallen in lake while trying to dispose garbage, search begins

KOCHI: A plus one student is suspected to have fallen in a lake. The incident happened at Nettoor in Ernakulam. The missing is Fida aged 16, daughter of Firoz of Muthiraparambu House near Nettoor Beach Soccer. The family are staying in a rented house here. Fire force and scuba teams have started rescue operations.

The incident happened Friday morning at 6.30 am. The girl went missing after she went to dispose garbage near the lake. No one had seen her after that. Fida and her family, natives of Nilambur have been staying here for quite some time. The locals are also part of the search.
