Five college students die in fatal road accident near Tiruvallur

CHENNAI: Five students met with a tragic end after the car they travelled rammed into a truck in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur. Two people were seriously injured in the collision. The students of Chennai SRM College were involved in the accident.
The accident took place on Sunday night at Ramancheri near Thiruttani in Tiruvallur district, 65 km from Chennai. The car used by the students collided with a truck from the opposite direction.
According to reports, the students were returning from a trip to Andhra Pradesh when the fatal accident took place. The police registered a case in the incident and the investigation is ongoing. The injured are currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Tiruvallur.
