Landslide disaster: Mammootty's call offering support, Naufal with teary eyes

MEPPADI: Actor Mammootty condoled Chooralmala native Naufal who lost 11 relatives including his wife and children in the landslide disaster. Mammootty called Naufal on the phone and told him that he is with him and asked him to be brave. "Thank you sir" said Naufal with filled eyes.
It was actor Tini Tom who brought Naufal's plight to Mammootty's attention. Naufal was in the Gulf when the tragedy happened. Naufal called his wife and children as soon as he heard the news. He confirmed that they were caught in the landslide when they were not available.

Naufal immediately returned home. He realized that everyone in the family was dead when he reached the relief camp and inquired. The note Naufal's son kept in the box when he had gone to the Gulf, made everyone weep. 'Dad, you are my hero. We are lucky to have a father like you.' Naufal is staying at a relief camp in Meppadi.
