KSRTC conductor dies after thrashed by loan sharks

PALAKKAD: A KSRTC conductor died after thrashed by a group of moneylenders. The dead is K Manoj (39) of Kuzhalmandam in Palakkad. He died while undergoing treatment at a private medical college hospital in Thrissur after beaten up by the moneylenders. Manoj was under treatment for nine days after he was attacked.

The group attacked Manoj on August 9. Manoj, who was weak was admitted to the hospital by his sister that night. The doctor who treated him revealed that there were many injuries on Manoj's body which led to his death. The police have registered a case and started investigation on the complaint of his relatives.
