Gopi Sundar files cyber complaint over obscene Facebook comments
Music director Gopi Sundar has lodged a complaint with the cyber police against an individual who made obscene comments on one of his Facebook posts. The comment, posted by a Facebook user named Sudhi S Nair, was made in response to a picture Gopi Sundar had shared, where he was dressed in traditional Kerala attire for 'Chingam Onnu.'
Gopi Sundar brought attention to the offensive comment in a post on his Facebook page. He shared a copy of the police complaint with the caption, "Ini namukk saptaaham vayikkam" (Now, let's read the scriptures). The comment in question, which targeted Gopi Sundar’s mother, left the music director deeply saddened. "It is said that Sudhi S Nair wants my mother. I don't know what to say. I feel sad that he insulted my innocent mother. Dear friends, you must do something about him. I don’t know what to do," Gopi Sundar wrote, sharing the obscene comments late last night.
The post quickly garnered support for Gopi Sundar, with many urging him to file a police complaint. Gopi Sundar responded, noting that the police should take up the case on their own. Following this, he has indeed filed a complaint and shared the copy of it on social media.
