THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More information on the Hema Committee report is out. One of the actresses has given a statement that only those who compromise on sex will be given good food.

"One has to be prepared to compromise to get a chance. Those who cooperate are given the code name 'Corporate Artist'. Those who do not give in are shunned as troublemakers. Women producers are looked down upon by actors and directors," says the report.

An actress, who was set to play the title character in a Malayalam film, had told the director to inform her if there were any intimate scenes, but he did not do so. When she went to shoot, she had more scenes than she could handle. When she finally got tired and walked out of there, she asked to delete the scenes that were recorded without consent, but the response to the actress was to compromise.

Shine Tom Chacko with response

"When faced with indecency, the woman should be the first to fight. When she fights like that, she will get support. I am with every person in this world. Place each commission in each sector. Every commission will have a story to tell.

Shouldn't we be questioning the abusers when someone faces abuse? I do not abuse. I have never seen anyone getting abused. Can't this problem be solved if the woman slaps the abuser across the face when she is being abused? I agree with what has been said in this report but that is not something that happens only here. It's something that's happening everywhere around' - Shine Tom Chacko responded about the report.
