'Changing face of Malayalam cinema', Manju Warrier shares poster following mass resignation in AMMA

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of controversies surrounding the release of the Hema Committee report, the governing body of the star organization AMMA has been dissolved. All office bearers, including President Mohanlal, have resigned. An ad hoc committee has been temporarily appointed, and a new governing body is expected to be formed within the next two months.

Amid these developments, actress Manju Warrier has shared a striking poster from her upcoming film Footage, captioned "Changing face of Malayalam cinema." The poster, which features an action-packed scene of the heroine knocking down a villain, has quickly gone viral on social media. Manju also encouraged her fans to watch the film in theaters, adding to the excitement surrounding the release.

Footage marks the directorial debut of editor Saiju Sreedharan, known for his work on Kumbalangi Nights, Anchaam Pathira and Maheshinte Prathikaram. The film, produced by Bineesh Chandran and Saiju Sreedharan under the banners of Movie Bucket, Cast & Co and Pale Blue Dot Pictures, also stars Visakh Nair and Gayatri Ashok in key roles. The film is being presented by Martin Prakat Films, adding to the anticipation for Saiju Sreedharan's first venture as a director.
