THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actress Rima Kallingal said now the hope for implementation of the Hema Committee report is with the court. In an interview to a media, she said attempts are being made to destroy the credibility of Women in Collective Cinema (WCC).

‘WCC has an obligation to lead the discussions based on the Hema Committee report in the right direction. WCC will meet the chief minister again to seek further action on the report. There should be a response from the government stating that this will not happen again.

If Mohanlal doesn't have an answer, he should at least try to start thinking from here. The actors raised their complaint believing the government and thinking that they would be with them. Still the government is saying to file a complaint again. All these things will be strongly raised after meeting the chief minister,' said the actress.

The actress also responded to singer Suchitra's allegation of hosting a drug party at home. Suchitra alleged in the video that Pinarayi Vijayan, Mohanlal and Mammootty started the Hema committee report to destroy Fahadh Faazil's career. However, it did not make much hype. Let the Malayalees think whether there is a power group behind this. She also accused the media of reporting only the things that Suchitra had alleged about her.

The actress has taken legal action against Tamil singer Suchitra for her defamatory remarks. The action was on the allegation of hosting a drunk party at her residence. Rima has lodged a complaint against the singer with the special committee investigating complaints in the film industry. The lawyer sent a notice seeking compensation for the defamation. In the interview, Suchitra raised allegations that Rima's drunken parties were attended by girls, banned substances were used and that the incidents affected their careers.
