Beaten on foot, clicked nude photos and kept locked up for one night; Malayali nursing student tortured by agents in Bengaluru
AMBALAPPUZHA: Aadil Shiji, the first-year nursing student who was beaten up by agents in Bengaluru, sought treatment at the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital. Aadil, son of Shiji and Ajeena of Mavelikara Mankamkuzhy, is a student of Shushruti Nursing College in Bengaluru.
Aadil was beaten up by three Malayalee agents of this college. The reason for the assault was that Aadil introduced three students, who were friends, to other agents for admission to another college.
The agents summoned Aadil and Sherin, a native of Karunagappally, to the office on the 3rd. Following this, the agents brutally beat up Aadil asking why he made the students take admission in another college. The agents tied both of them to a chair and beat them on their feet with a wooden rod. They tied a cloth all over their body and beat them up. The beating was in such a manner that there were no marks seen on the body. They were given food at night and locked up. The two were taken to their room the next afternoon.
Following this, Aadil reached home with the help of an agent from another college. Sherin was not ready to go with him. Aadil's father Shiji lodged a complaint with the SP. He said that a complaint will be lodged with the Chief Minister soon.
Threats
It was taken in writing that Aadil uses ganja and that he got 15 people admitted to other colleges. Aadil said that the agents took his phone and ID card and clicked nude pictures saying that they should not inform anyone about what happened.
