Actor Allu Arjun released from jail; brought out through back gate
HYDERABAD: Allu Arjun, arrested and remanded in connection with the stampede leading to the death of the woman during the premiere of the actor’s film Pushpa 2, has been released from jail. The actor was released from jail after receiving a copy of the order granting him interim bail. Allu Arjun walked out of the Chanchalguda jail through the back gate due to security concerns. The actor has been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Allu Arjun was released from the jail after the dramatic events that started yesterday afternoon. Allu was released from jail after receiving a copy of the high court order granting him interim bail. Many people, including fans, were waiting outside the main gate of the jail. Allu Arjun was jailed in Barrack One of Telangana Chanchalguda jail.
Although the actor was granted interim bail yesterday, he had not received a copy of the order from the high court. His release was delayed due to that. Fans have been protesting in front of the jail since yesterday. The bail order said the police investigation into the case should not be obstructed and should cooperate with the investigation. Witnesses should not be influenced. The bail conditions are Rs 50,000 and a surety.
The Hyderabad police booked Allu Arjun and the theatre owners under charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
